Wolf Meadow Parcels B & C
This conceptual site plan started with a house rotated relative to the property boundaries. The bold approach embodies unique ideas, deftly integrated to capture expansive views and minimize the intrusion of adjacent residences. The rotation also serves to create an elegant formal car court for visitors. Note the main entry, which provides a focal point at the apex of the court. The owner’s garage is hidden behind a sliding screen and avoids the typical banality of seeing garage doors from the street. All living spaces open to a backyard of decks, gardens, a pool, and an outdoor kitchen.
The north parcel site design was also developed for the owners. The spec house they will build will ensure their future sight lines. The spec house also provides separate car courts for visitors and owners. Whether one or two stories, it will not hamper views from the rotated house. Moreover, a large lushly landscaped berm has been designed at the curve in the road to enhance the bucolic rural feeling and minimize road noise before entering either idyllic meadow residence.
