A Transformational Remodel with Additions
Realizing that that their small weekend cottage and property had become an essential refuge in times of stress, the owners decided to renovate for full time living. Goals included additional living space as well as generous outdoor living areas equal in size to the interior. Renovation of the beloved original cottage would remain more traditional with paned windows. The new would embrace a contemporary outlook with a focus on light and volume and connection to views through large glazed openings. Both share materials of stone, metal and board and batt siding that embody a fresh yet classic wine-country feel. Throughout every season, meal, and sublime bottle of estate wine, this wine country retreat has been fully realized by its transformation.
